InkPhone Promise Two Weeks on a Charge

Do you remember the impressive YotaPhone that shown on CES, MWC and other digital electronic? Fuselage built an electronic ink screen that can display information, read books, maps and achieve more applications of smartphone. Now, there is a new choice: InkPhone.

In the recently held CeBIT in Germany, Onyx company has demonstrated a product called "InkPhone" smart phones. It uses a 4.3-inch e-ink screen as the main screen and built-in 1800mAh lithium battery that can be achieved in about two weeks battery life. Compared to ordinary Android phone, it is obviously more durable.

As an Android smart phone, InkPhone also has a similar hardware configuration. However, it is  lower than some of the mainstream models, including the Rockchip processor, low profile RAM (specific capacity temporarily not clear), 4GB ROM, etc. It said that InkPhone will support micro SD memory card expansion, but any front or rear camera not built.

In the trial process, the developers feel the application experience of this InkPhone has yet to be improved, such as a sliding switch pages in the main screen response about 20 seconds later. There is a small problem, you can not use the Google Play Store or the Amazon Kindle app (or any other Android applications), which limits using. The Onyx believes that lowe machine's hardware configuration and low refresh rate may not be fluent in a number of multimedia applications, so they are temporarily unable to sure whether the company will build application store for InkPhone.

InkPhone is a functional machine that equipped with the Android system, but the overall experience is limited. It seems long battery life is its biggest selling point. InkPhone will be sold in April this year in Germany and Poland and priced at 140 Euros. It will also be delivered to anywhere in the world and listed in the Amazon,.
